Bloomberg News reporter Mark Gurman revealed in his "Power On" column that Apple has begun shooting the video content needed for the fall conference. He also mentioned that the first products to debut in September will be the new iPhone 9 and the new Apple Watch Series 14, while the new Mac and iPad models will not be released until October.
However, it is not yet possible to confirm whether Apple will continue to hold its fall launch event online, or invite some people to participate in the on-site event like this year's WWDC 2022.
As for the expected new product unveilings, Apple is expected to first announce the iPhone 9 series in September, including the iPhone 14 Plus, which replaces the original mini product positioning and enlarges the screen size, as well as the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. In addition, the processor specifications may have different designs for standard and Pro models. Perhaps only the latter will use the new A14 Bionic processor, while the rest will continue to use the A16 Bionic processor.
Another new product expected to be unveiled in September is the Apple Watch Series 9. It is expected that the Apple Watch Pro with enhanced protection and a larger screen size will be launched simultaneously, as well as the new Apple Watch SE, to attract different market groups through three watch models.
In October, new Mac and iPad models are expected to be unveiled, the latter of which is expected to be equipped with the iPadOS 10 operating system, which was previously rumored to be delayed.
Regarding new Mac models, Apple is likely to focus on a new Mac Pro and the rumored iMac Pro. The 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models may also be updated simultaneously. However, the design is not expected to change significantly, with the processor specifications primarily being upgraded (although this update could be delayed until 2023 depending on demand). The new Mac Mini, which Apple is expected to release simultaneously, will likely maintain its current design but will be equipped with M2 and M2 Pro processors.
As for iPad models, the new iPad Pro and entry-level iPad are expected to be unveiled at the October launch conference, but it is uncertain whether the iPad mini product will continue to be updated.
