In the "Scary fast" special event held earlier, Apple not only announcedThree M3 series processors, and announced the launch ofNew 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro,as well asNew 24-inch iMac models (This also confirms the discontinuation of the 13.3-inch MacBook Pro.) A post-credits scene reveals that all presentation footage was shot with an iPhone 15 Pro Max. Apple also previously revealed how all footage was shot with an iPhone, including aerial footage that was initially thought to have been captured with a drone.

In the past, Apple has demonstrated the potential of iPhone for professional video shooting through director's works and other shooting content. This time, the "Scary Fast" event content was shot with iPhone 15 Pro Max, highlighting the ability to shoot complete commercial videos independently with iPhone.
When shooting the footage for this launch event, Apple naturally used professional equipment as an aid, and emphasized the use of the USB-C port on the iPhone 15 Pro Max to connect external storage devices, monitoring screens, etc., and use its own camera shooting capabilities to meet the needs of capturing images in low-light environments at night, while recording clear images through ProRes format and 4K 60fps video.
As for the filming process, you can also see Apple using stabilizers, drones and other devices to mount the iPhone for filming. At the same time, it also did not forget to promote the content shot through Apple-Log to facilitate subsequent adjustments and unify the color tones of all videos.
In further explanation, Apple introduced that the entire event was directed by Brian Oakes, a famous documentary director who has shot "Jim: The James Foley Story" and "Living with Lincoln", and Pro Workflow film commissioner Jon Carr, who has participated in the production of "Top Gun: Lone Ranger" and "Terminator: Dark Fate", and Jeff Wozniak, who has participated in the production of "Transformers 3", "Avatar" and "Iron Man 2", served as shooting consultants.
During the filming process, in addition to using the iPhone 15 Pro Max, the iPhone 15 Pro was also used to increase the shooting angle. The shooting app used was the free version of "Blackmagic Camera" released by Blackmagic Design recently. It was paired with Tentacle Sync's shooting device to allow the time code of the on-site video to be synchronized with the preview screen and post-production Mac. The shooting process was also assisted by the Beastgrip's lifting cage and bracket accessories.
