Apple announced earlierIts second quarter financial results for fiscal year 2025, of which revenue reached $954 billion, a 5% increase compared to the same period last year. At the same time, Apple CEO Tim Cook also revealed that due to the impact of the Trump administration's tariff policy, it is expected to face an additional cost of $9 million in the next quarter, and further stated that most iPhone models sold in the United States in the next quarter will beWill be produced in IndiaMost iPads and Macs imported into the United States are produced in Vietnam.Tariff policyThe impact caused.

Apple confirmed that it will face $9 million in additional costs and adjust the production of iPhone models sold in the United States due to the impact of Trump administration tariffs.

However, Apple still stated that China will remain the largest production and assembly region for Apple products not sold in the US market, but Tim Cook did not further clarify whether iPhone models with high-end designs will still be assembled and produced in China.

Based on previous market analysis, most people believe that the new iPhone may still be assembled and produced in China, a country with more experience. As a result, the new iPhone models sold in the United States this fall will face price increases, and versions sold in other markets may also be adjusted due to the impact of tariffs.

Tim Cook stated that the impact of tariffs will be difficult to predict in the future, and he is currently waiting to see if there are any changes to the policy. He further explained that iPhones currently use a significant number of chips produced in the United States, and that the company plans to purchase up to 190 billion chips produced in the United States this year.

In terms of sales performance of different products, iPhone revenue reached US$468.4 billion in the last quarter, a year-on-year increase of 1.9%, while Mac revenue reached US$79.5 billion, a year-on-year increase of 6.7%. iPad sales revenue reached US$64 billion, a year-on-year increase of 15.2%. As for wearable and home device revenue including Apple Watch, it was US$75.2 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 5%.

Service revenue reached US$266.5 billion, an increase of 11.6%. At the same time, it accounted for 28% of Apple's overall revenue, compared with only 2.7% of hardware revenue. It is expected to continue to be an important source of revenue for Apple.
