Apple's recent updatesHow to transfer purchased content to your Apple account, which will allow users to transfer content purchased from another Apple account to another account.
Before this, Apple did not allow users to transfer (or transfer) items purchased from different Apple accounts, but in the recent update of the usage policy, adjustments have been made, but there are also some restrictions.
For example, this adjustment does not apply to the EU, the UK, or India. Both accounts used for the transfer must be set up in the same country or region. They cannot be children's accounts created through "Family Sharing". The two accounts cannot even have related music library content, and shared purchase items cannot be set up.
In addition, both accounts must not have been used to transfer purchases. Also, after performing a purchase transfer, there will be a one-year waiting period during which purchases cannot be transferred again. Therefore, please be extra careful when performing this operation.
During the operation, the iPhone or iPad used must be updated to the latest operating system, and the primary account and secondary account must be logged in separately. At the same time, the two-factor authentication mechanism must be enabled for both accounts, and there must not be any points balance left in the secondary account, otherwise it will be reset to zero.
Otherwise, all rentals or pre-orders on the secondary account must be in the completed transaction state, so the user can also choose to cancel them. If the secondary account has recently purchased content, you must wait up to 15 days before the purchase transfer can be processed.
Users must also prepare the secondary account originally registered for payment, such as the originally set credit card, and can successfully transfer purchase items after completing the relevant payment method.
The reason why users are allowed to transfer purchases between two Apple accounts may be that users may create multiple Apple accounts individually at different times, but later hope to merge purchases from different accounts under a single account, or transfer purchases from different Apple accounts of relatives and friends.
Specific steps are as follows:
1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
2. Tap the user's name, then tap Media & Purchases.
3. Click "View Account" and you may be asked to log in.
4. Scroll down and tap "Transfer Purchases."
5. Review the information for both accounts and follow the instructions to transfer your purchases to your primary account.
6. When completed, a "Purchase transferred" message will appear and a confirmation email will be sent to the email addresses associated with both accounts.
7. Be sure to check your Media & Purchases settings, log out of your secondary Apple Account, and then log in with your primary Apple Account.
If you do not meet the eligibility criteria, the "Transfer Purchase Item" may not appear.
If you are unable to transfer your purchase:
1. Both "Apple Accounts" cannot be child accounts created through "Family Sharing".
2. Neither Apple Account has been used to transfer purchases. If you transfer purchases from your secondary Apple Account, you will not be able to transfer purchases again for one year.
3. If both the primary and secondary Apple Accounts have associated music libraries, purchases cannot be transferred.
4. If your Apple One subscription is set up to provide iCloud storage to a third account, the purchase cannot be transferred.
5. If the primary account has never been used to purchase or download items for free, purchases cannot be transferred.
6. Purchases cannot be transferred from a deleted or disabled Apple Account.
7. If your Apple ID is locked or disabled, you will not be able to transfer purchases.
8. Neither Apple Account can obtain any special access rights to apps or content, such as an Apple Account that is registered for a VPP program through an employer to obtain special app access rights.
