Regarding the financial report released this time, Appier CEO and co-founder Zhihan You expressed his confidence in the financial development in the new year, and set the revenue target at 455 billion yen, with an annual growth rate of approximately 34%. At the same time, the operating profit is expected to reach 41 billion yen, with a growth rate of approximately 2 times.
In addition, Yu Zhihan expects Appier's growth momentum to continue until 2027, with revenue targets expected to double and operating profit estimated to quintuple. He also sets the revenue target at more than 2 billion yen, and operating profit is estimated to reach 5-700 billion yen.
Regarding the earlier announcement of a $3870 million acquisition agreement with French startup AdCreative.ai, Yu Chih-han stated that Appier actually possesses AdCreative.ai's ability to generate advertising and marketing materials, thereby reducing related costs, but more resources are actually focused on advertising audience data. The acquisition of AdCreative.ai will further supplement the relevant data resources for generating advertising and marketing materials using artificial intelligence technology, and will also be beneficial for penetrating the European market and further expanding into the Middle East and Latin American markets.
The acquisition agreement between Appier and AdCreative.ai is expected to be completed in March of this year, which will drive the growth of Appier's application of performance-based marketing artificial intelligence solutions in the global market.
Regarding the current development trends of artificial intelligence technology, You Zhihan expressed optimism about the current development trends of artificial intelligence technology. He also expects that large-scale artificial intelligence models will continue to develop, but artificial intelligence technology generated through methods such as data optimization and distillation will also become an important development trend in the market. This is mainly because such artificial intelligence technology will become more widely used in various specific fields.
However, judging by Appier's current business development plan, You Chih-han stated that Appier's primary focus is on the application of combining data, models, and domain knowledge. Therefore, the company's current approach will still focus on collaborating with more artificial intelligence model technologies and leveraging Taiwan's stacked supply chain hardware computing resources to promote artificial intelligence application services in financial technology, advertising marketing, and cybersecurity. For the time being, the company will not invest in its own models or hardware architecture like certain financial institutions and advertising marketing firms.
