Ansys announced thatNVIDIA Omniverse simulation platformPromoting 3D integrated circuit design and combining it with Ansys multi-physics platform technology allows IC designers to visually examine the impact of electromagnetic fields and thermal effects on integrated circuits, thereby accelerating product design diagnosis and optimization processes.
The NVIDIA Omniverse platform simulates real-world physical environments, enabling IC designers to accelerate the design of integrated circuit products for 5G/6G, the Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI)/machine learning (ML), cloud computing, and autonomous vehicle applications. Furthermore, designers can visualize electromagnetic interference, thermal effects, and even the impact of environmental stress, accelerating product market entry.
In addition to integrating Omniverse platform resources, Ansys is also accelerating its RedHawk-SC design tools through NVIDIA Grace CPU Superchips, enabling high-performance complex physics simulation designs.
"Advanced manufacturing relies on merging the physical and digital worlds. At Ansys, we are leveraging the power of the NVIDIA Omniverse platform to simulate and design everything from small semiconductors to the massive factories that produce them," said Prith Banerjee, CTO of Ansys. "Ansys design tools like RedHawk-SC already offer visualization capabilities, and these capabilities are integrated with Omniverse to unlock new areas of potential."
"Accelerated computing, AI physics and physical visualization will drive the next era of industrial digitalization," said Rev Lebaredian, vice president of Omniverse and Simulation at NVIDIA. "Ansys semiconductor solutions connected to the Omniverse Cloud API will help accelerate design and engineering processes across the electronics ecosystem."
