Variety reported that A24, an independent film production company headquartered in New York, will shoot a biographical film about Elon Musk, and Darren Aronofsky, who has directed "Black Swan", "The Fountain" and "The Whale", will be the director.
This biographical film will be based on Walter Isaacson's personal biography "Elon Musk" written and published in September this year. Before confirming the authorization to A24 to shoot the film, many film studios and producers joined in vying for the opportunity to adapt and shoot this biography.
Prior to this, Walter Isaacson spent over two years conducting more than 40 interviews, using accounts from friends, family, and industry competitors to depict the life of Apple founder Steve Jobs. This biography, "Steve Jobs," was released in late October 2011. In addition to writing biographies of tech figures, Walter Isaacson has also written biographies of Benjamin Franklin, one of the founding fathers of the United States and the renowned physicist, and Albert Einstein, the "Father of Modern Physics."
After the news broke, Elon Musk immediately confirmed the news on his personal "X" page, but did not disclose specific details of the biographical film.
The person who will play Elon Musk and how the biographical film will be presented have not yet been confirmed.
