At the end of last year, it was implemented in 32 states in the United StatesAmazon Clinic online medical clinic service, Amazon announced it would expand to all 50 states, as well as Washington, D.C.
Amazon Clinic originated from its own online pharmacy service Amazon Pharmacy and the service resources of One Medical that it later acquired. It provides remote diagnosis and treatment for common conditions such as acne, asthma, herpes, conjunctivitis, dandruff, eczema, gastroesophageal reflux, hypertension, hypothyroidism, male pattern baldness, migraines, motion sickness, seasonal allergies, sinusitis, smoking cessation, urinary tract infections, etc. through online forms.
After a doctor's consultation, a prescription will be provided, which can be filled at a pharmacy according to the user's needs. This service is also covered by personal health insurance, and the overall cost is similar to a visit to a hospital, but without the hassle of traveling to the hospital.
In addition, Amazon has partnered with online medical service Curai Health and other organizations to provide online consultation services in text format through artificial intelligence, allowing users to "see a doctor" at any time without an appointment. The cost of a text consultation is US$35, and the cost of a video consultation is US$75. Prescriptions for medication can be obtained based on the consultation results, and then the medication can be filled at the pharmacy.
Due to different medical and drug management regulations in different countries and regions, this Amazon service is currently only available in the United States.
