AWS unveiled its own automatically generated image tool, Titan Image Generator, at the re:Invent 2023 event held earlier. It was built with its Bedrock automatically generated artificial intelligence technology.
Like other automatically generated image tools, Titan Image Generator can generate corresponding images based on text descriptions alone. It can also be edited after generation, or after the system generates the image, it can continue to make detailed adjustments through text descriptions.
In addition to creating something from nothing, Titan Image Generator can also fill in the blanks in existing image content, generating image extensions. Furthermore, images generated through Titan Image Generator can also automatically create captions to describe the image details.
The billing method will be between US$0.008 and US$0.012 per generated image, mainly depending on the actual size of the generated image. Currently, image resolutions are divided into two specifications: 512 x 512 and 1024 x 1024. The image quality will also affect the actual billing.
Amazon emphasizes that images generated through Titan Image Generator will add an invisible watermark to mark them as generated through artificial intelligence technology. Even if the image is subsequently modified by humans, it can still be used for identification, thereby reducing image misleading.
