At CES 2026 this year, Amazon demonstrated its strong ambition to enter the living room and personal AI field, officially unveiling the "Ember Artline" lifestyle TV, whose product positioning and functions are clearly aimed at Samsung's best-selling "The Frame". In addition, Bee, the AI wearable device company acquired by Amazon last year, also released a major software update, bringing more proactive personal assistant functions to its Bee Pioneer hardware.
Ember Artline: Fire TV Artwork Hanging on the Wall
Ember Artline's core concept is to transform a television into an art display frame when not watching videos. This 4K QLED TV features an ultra-thin design, with a body thickness of only 1.5 inches, and is equipped with a specially designed anti-reflective matte screen, which is said to make digital artworks and photos look real.
To seamlessly integrate with home décor, Ember Artline offers 10 magnetic border options for consumers to choose from. In terms of content, it integrates Amazon Photos and provides over 2000 free artworks for users to display. Built-in sensing technology can detect the presence of people in the environment, automatically turning the device on and off to save power.
Featuring the new Alexa+ assistant
Ember Artline comes with Amazon's next-generation Alexa+ smart assistant. Through the TV's built-in far-field microphone, users can interact with Alexa+ as if they were talking to a real person. There's even an interesting application: Alexa+ can analyze your room's interior design and proactively recommend artwork suitable for display on the screen.
As a television, the Ember Artline runs the Fire TV platform and supports Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity. The suggested retail price starts at $899 (55-inch version) and it is expected to be available later this spring.
Bee AI Wearable Devices: Evolving from "Recording" to "Motion"
Bee, Amazon's AI wearable brand, also announced four major feature updates to its existing Bee Pioneer hardware at CES 2026, aiming to make this "always-on listening" device more practical:
• Actions:Bee integrates with users' emails and calendars. When a user says, "I need to send an email to someone," Bee can directly help draft the email.
• Daily Insights:This is the feature most like an "AI coach." The system analyzes data over several weeks or months to identify the user's lifestyle patterns or trends (such as changes in interpersonal relationships) and proactively offers personalized goal suggestions.
• Voice Notes:Simply press a button to quickly jot down fleeting inspirations or to-do items.
• Templates:It can automatically organize large amounts of audio information into an easy-to-read format, such as converting classroom recordings into learning plans or business meetings into key summaries.
In response to privacy concerns, Bee emphasized that all audio is processed in real-time and the original recordings are not stored. Furthermore, neither Amazon nor Bee can access users' transcripts.
