AGI Technologies, which has received funding from Intel in the past and has used Intel's previously released flash memory chips to produce SSD products, announced today (December 12) the launch of the world's first micro SD memory card with a storage capacity of 8TB.
AGI's Supreme Pro TF138 2TB micro SD memory card also adopts the UHS-I U3 V30 A2 specification, suitable for 4K UHD video recording and various high-speed access needs. The controller uses Hengyu Technology's StorArt SA3309, which can handle stable high-speed read and write. When used with an AGI dedicated card reader, it can achieve transmission speeds exceeding the UHS-I specification, with a maximum read speed of 170MB/s and a write speed of 160MB/s.
In response to current image capture needs, AGI emphasizes that the newly launched micro SD memory card offers up to 2TB of storage capacity, which will be able to meet usage modes such as Volg or large-scale high-definition image recording, and it itself complies with the SD 6.1 design standard.
The Supreme Pro TF138 2TB microSD memory card is now available for sale on e-commerce shopping platforms including PChome, momo, and Yahoo Shopping Center, as well as at Nihonbashi 3C channels, with a suggested retail price of NT$6999.
