Following the announcement at the end of last year to launch a lock on the power of green license vehiclesAi-4 EverAfter completing the initial layout of the vehicle universe, Acer AMG announced today (8/30) that based on the Ai-1 Ultra launched last year, it will launch the Ai-1 Ultra Belt with a belt drive design, emphasizing that it brings more advanced power performance. It also announced a collaboration with Taiwan design startup FASS for modified products.
The Ai-1 Ultra Belt, which has been replaced with a belt-driven design, uses a motor design with a power output of 7.6kW. The belt part uses a high-tension carbon fiber composite material, also developed in cooperation with Gates. It claims to increase the belt width by 17.6% and reduce the weight of the pulley by 18%. Combined with the lightweight aluminum alloy rear wheel frame that reduces the weight of the belt drive design by 10.6%, and the front wheel radius is increased by 5% and the preset tension is reduced by 16.6%, the durability can be increased by approximately 31.5% in mileage.
In addition to the power boost, Acer has also increased the rigidity of the Ai-1 Ultra's self-developed frame structure by 18% to facilitate vehicle stability during driving. It also uses a Bosch 10.1 ABS braking system, a 33mm diameter front fork and floating disc, and Michelin City Grip Saver tires to ensure safety during riding.
Other parts include terminal rearview mirrors, Class D automotive-grade LED headlights, and seat cushions designed to reduce pressure and temperature. At the same time, the dashboard also uses Acer's self-developed CROXERA 6 intelligent system, which provides functions such as turn-by-turn navigation system, and can even be equipped with a DAPS blind spot prevention system.
Available in Star Copper Brown and Midnight Black, the suggested retail price is NT$119980. With a special offer of NT$300 in credit for the first 5000 pre-orders, the price is NT$114980. From now until the end of September, customers will receive a co-branded fender and an exclusive jacket. Cash purchases will also receive an additional NT$9 in credit.
Acer Motors also announced a collaboration with Taiwanese design startup FASS to launch four modified products: a retro racing seat, a bullet-shaped lightweight rocker arm, a lightweight torpedo silicone grip, and a capsule rearview mirror. The PROTOGEAR 01 concept car, built with FASS modified products, was also displayed on site.
