In response to last year's announcement of adding new features to its Firefly auto-generative AI tool,A function that generates videos by describing text, earlier announced by Adobe to enterPublic beta test phase, which will allow anyone to join the test.
Prior to this, Adobe has added functions such as generating images with text descriptions and eliminating specific image details with one click in Firefly, allowing creators to reduce the time spent on adjusting image details and focus more on creation.
The subsequent automatic video generation function also allows users to quickly generate corresponding video content through text descriptions, and can even further adjust the perspective, camera movement, or focus position, allowing users to generate more B-Roll content to fill in the gaps in the video or use it as content enhancement material.
Adobe emphasizes that this feature uses the market's first generative AI model that is safe for commercial content and can be used within Premiere Pro's video editor or through the Firefly service to generate video content. In addition to generating videos through text prompts or image input, this feature automatically adds a digital watermark to the generated content and can be checked using the Adobe Content Authenticity tool to confirm whether the video content is generated by artificial intelligence.
In addition, Adobe also claims that its model is trained in a secure manner and is trained through its own Adobe Stock database containing more than 4 million images, illustrations and video content. The generated content will not constitute copyright, commercial use and other issues. It also emphasizes that no user-uploaded data is used as training content.
Under the current pricing model, the Firefly Standard plan, which costs $10 per month, can generate 2000 videos and audio content, as well as 20 videos with a resolution of up to 1080P per month. The Firefly Pro plan, which costs $30 per month, can generate 7000 videos and audio content, as well as 70 videos with a resolution of up to 1080P per month.
