Adobe announced the addition of the PhotoshopArtificial Intelligence Agent Function, allowing users to interact with chatbots to help artificial intelligence complete tasks while also knowing the correct way to operate functions. In addition, Adobe also announced the launch of a new version of its artificial intelligence service Firefly and the introduction of a new model function to help creators unleash greater creativity.
The artificial intelligence agent function added to Photoshop mainly interacts through text dialogue, and can use artificial intelligence to assist in completing almost all Photoshop operation functions. It also makes it easier for users to learn the correct function application methods more quickly through artificial intelligence operation demonstrations. For many users who are not familiar with Photoshop functions, it will bring greater usage benefits.
Another major update this time is the previously launched Firefly artificial intelligence featurePerform an upgrade, allowing users to process still images, videos, audio, and vector content through the new version of Firefly. In addition, Adobe also announced the launch of two new models, namely Firefly Image Model 4 and Firefly Image Model 4 Ultra. The former can generate 2K resolution images, and the latter can produce better character rendering effects. Both are trained on copyrighted content, and the generated content can be used safely by creative professionals.
In addition, the new version of Firefly also begins to incorporate third-party artificial intelligence models, including Google's Imagen 3, Veo 2 models, or OpenAI's ChatGPT image generation function, and more third-party artificial intelligence models will continue to be added in the future.
As part of the collaboration, Adobe emphasized that not only will it not use the data of its service users for training purposes such as artificial intelligence models, but third-party partners including Google and OpenAI will also be unable to use user data for training.
The new version of Firefly will first be available via a web version, and will later be available on Android and iOS platforms.
