In addition to updating its business models, Acer also updated its gaming models during IFA 2025, including an upgrade to the Nitro series and the Predator Helios 18P AI, a hybrid gaming laptop that combines work and entertainment functions.
Nitro series fully upgraded
The updated Nitro V 16 and Nitro V 16S gaming laptops are equipped with up to Intel Core 9 270H and NVIDIA RTX 5070 graphics cards, combined with DLSS 4 and Blackwell display architecture, to provide theater-level gaming and creative performance.
The Nitro V 16 features a WQXGA 180Hz refresh rate and enhanced cooling, while the Nitro V 16S boasts a thin, lightweight metal chassis measuring less than 19.9mm for portability and includes a built-in RGB keyboard. Both models support NitroSense performance monitoring, Killer DoubleShot Pro, and Thunderbolt 4.
For desktops, the Nitro 70 and Nitro 50 offer flagship performance. The former is equipped with up to AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D and RTX 5090 GPU, and uses CycloneX 360 cooling and water cooling design. The latter is equipped with Ryzen 7 8700G and RTX 5080 GPU, maintaining the same high expandability, and supports Wi-Fi 7, ARGB lighting effects and environmentally friendly material casing.
Acer also launched four new Nitro monitors, covering 4K, WQHD to 5K high resolution and up to 288Hz specifications, and equipped with HDR certification and FreeSync Premium technology to meet the needs of players at different levels.
Predator Helios 18P AI hybrid laptop debuts
Acer's new Predator series products launched at IFA 2025 include the Predator Helios 18P AI laptop, Predator Orion 7000/5000 desktop, Predator X27U F8 monitor, and Predator Aethon 550 TKL keyboard, providing professional gamers and creators with high performance and diverse functions.
The Predator Helios 18P AI is equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 9 285HX processor (supporting vPro technology), up to 192GB of ECC memory, and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card. It supports DLSS 4 and advanced image processing, and is equipped with an 18-inch 16:10 Mini LED 4K WQUXGA screen to present accurate colors and HDR effects. The exclusive cooling system combines the sixth-generation AeroBlade dual fans, liquid metal thermal paste and vector heat pipes to ensure that the laptop remains stable during long-term operation.
For desktops, the Predator Orion 7000/5000 supports up to Intel Core Ultra 9 285K or Core Ultra 7 265F processors, paired with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090/5080 graphics cards, equipped with a CycloneX 360 cooling system and water cooling design, up to 128GB DDR5 memory and 6TB SSD, and supports Wi-Fi 7, Thunderbolt 4 and Killer networking, making it suitable for high-load gaming and creation.
The Predator X27U F8 features a 26.5-inch OLED WQHD display panel with support for an ultra-fast 720Hz refresh rate, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, and HDR certification, providing an immersive gaming experience. Additionally, the Predator Aethon 550 TKL keyboard features a tri-mode connection, hot-swappable switches, and RGB backlighting, offering precise control and personalized settings, while boasting up to 150 hours of battery life.
