Acer announced a number of new PCs during IFA 2025, including the new Swift Air 16 laptop designed for mobile workers, the TravelMate X4 14 AI business laptop for small and medium-sized enterprises and hybrid work needs, and the first Chromebook model equipped with MediaTek Kompanio Ultra processor.
New Swift Air 16 laptop
The new Swift Air 16 (SFA16-61M), weighing less than 1 kg and featuring a 16-inch screen, is the world's lightest 16-inch Copilot+ PC, designed specifically for mobile workers.
The Swift Air 16 uses AMD Ryzen AI 300 series processors and Radeon graphics cards, with an optional Ryzen AI 7 350. It can smoothly execute device-side AI applications and multitasking in a low-power environment, with a battery life of up to 13 hours.
The screen offers two options: WQXGA+ AMOLED (120Hz) and WUXGA IPS (16:10). The AMOLED supports DCI-P3 wide color gamut and 400 nits brightness, making it suitable for professional creators and audio and video applications.
The Swift Air 16 features a built-in Full HD infrared camera, Windows Hello facial recognition support, and a privacy screen. It also features dual microphones and dual speakers for crystal-clear calls and video playback. Connectivity options include USB-C, USB-A, HDMI 1.4, Wi-Fi 6E, and the latest Bluetooth specifications, meeting the needs of mobile users.
TravelMate X4 14 AI Business Laptop
The TravelMate X4 14 AI business laptop is designed specifically for small and medium-sized enterprises and hybrid work modes. It weighs only 1.27 kg and is 15.9 mm thick. It meets the MIL-STD 810H US military standard and is both lightweight and durable.
The TravelMate X4 14 AI is equipped with an Intel Core Ultra Series 2 processor, supporting up to 115 TOPS of computing performance. It can be configured with 32GB of memory and a 1TB PCIe SSD, and supports Windows 11 Pro and Copilot+ PC functions.
The standard 14-inch WUXGA display is available, with an optional OLED display offering 500 nits of brightness and low blue light certification. Built-in Acer PurifiedView 2.0 and PurifiedVoice 2.0, combined with DTS:X Ultra audio, ensure a flawless video conferencing experience. For security, the new UserSensing 2.0 sensor and multiple data protection mechanisms are included, along with support for various connectivity options, including Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and Thunderbolt 4.
Acer also launched three new Vero series laser projectors: the XL2320p, XL2521, and short-throw SL2520n. These new models utilize a mercury-free laser light source with a lifespan of 3 hours and consume 40% less power than traditional models. With 4000 ANSI lumens brightness, Full HD resolution, 360-degree projection, and a dust-resistant design, they meet the demands of modern offices and professional environments. The Vero projectors' housings are made from 50% PCR recycled plastic and utilize 100% recyclable packaging, furthering Acer's commitment to sustainability.
Chromebook Plus Spin 514
The Chromebook Plus Spin 514 debuts the MediaTek Kompanio Ultra 910 processor, featuring a built-in NPU that delivers up to 50 TOPS of AI computing performance. Combined with Google AI Pro features, it further enhances content creation and productivity. This convertible laptop features a 14-inch touchscreen, USI 2.0 stylus support, up to 17 hours of battery life, and a MIL-STD 810H military-grade durable design, meeting the diverse needs of professional and educational environments.
The new phone integrates Google's latest AI tools, including Smart Grouping, AI image generation, and Quick Insert Key, and offers a 12-month Google AI Pro subscription and 2TB of cloud storage. It comes with 2.8K WQXGA+ or WUXGA options, features Corning Gorila Glass tempered glass and anti-fingerprint coating, and weighs only 1.36 kg, making it both portable and durable.
The Acer Chromebox CXI6 and Chromebox Mini CXM2, unveiled simultaneously, are designed for education, enterprise, and digital signage applications. The Chromebox CXI6 features up to an Intel Core 7 processor, supports quad-display output, and Wi-Fi 6E/2.5G LAN for efficient connectivity. The smaller Chromebox Mini CXM2 boasts a fanless and silent design and supports triple-display output, making it ideal for space-constrained environments. Both models feature optional VESA mounting and multiple ports for enhanced deployment flexibility.
The new series also supports the upgraded version of Chrome Enterprise, providing advanced security protection and centralized management to help enterprises quickly implement and maintain long-term operational efficiency, demonstrating Acer's comprehensive layout in promoting AI and cloud ecosystems.
