Acer announced at IFA 2025 the expansion of its SpatialLabs Pro ecosystem, offering an immersive, glasses-free 3D visual experience for professionals in creative, industrial, and medical fields through integration with NVIDIA Omniverse, Vision Engineering's ProteQ Viso stereo microscope, and the Smart Surgery medical training platform.
By combining Acer OpenXR Runtime with NVIDIA Omniverse, SpatialLabs Pro can present stereoscopic 2D views while working in 3D, enhancing spatial and depth perception. This makes it suitable for robotic design, digital twins, architectural visualization, and product development, improving decision-making accuracy and shortening development cycles.
For industrial applications, Vision Engineering's ProteQ Viso stereo microscope integrates SpatialLabs Pro, providing high-resolution 2D images up to 2K × 3K per eye, color accuracy with Delta E < 2, and 100% Adobe RGB color gamut. Combined with 10:1 optical zoom and a 6x–240x magnification range, it enhances productivity and ergonomics for electronics, prototyping, and medical device development. In the medical field, Smart Surgery utilizes SpatialLabs' naked-eye 3D display technology for AI-powered minimally invasive surgery training and real-time video analysis. This allows physicians to precisely visualize anatomical structures and surgical techniques in high-resolution images, shortening the learning curve and improving clinical outcomes, demonstrating the potential of SpatialLabs' technology beyond the creative industry. Through this expansion, Acer has established SpatialLabs Pro as an immersive 3D platform encompassing creative, industrial, and medical fields, providing professionals across multiple industries with more intuitive and efficient visualization tools.
