In addition to announcing a range of laptops, Acer also actively showcased its achievements in the smart mobile and networking fields. The new Predator ES Storm Pro electric scooter, unveiled at CES 2026, extends the Predator brand's gaming DNA to urban transportation and will be available in the Taiwan market before the Lunar New Year. Acer also launched four new networking products for Wi-Fi 7 and 5G applications, covering a full range of needs from home and gaming to mobile office applications.
Predator ES Storm Pro: The Off-Road Spirit for Urban Adventure
Following the electric scooter showcased at Computex 2025 last year, Acer's new Predator ES Storm Pro (PES016) is not just a means of transportation, but more like a miniature off-road vehicle.
To cope with the ever-changing road conditions in the city, it is equipped with 10-inch tubeless pneumatic tires and a dual front and rear suspension system, as well as a rear disc brake and eABS electronic anti-lock braking system to ensure stable stopping even on slippery roads. In terms of power, it provides strong acceleration through a 500W rear wheel hub motor (peak output up to 1200W) and a 48V electric system, with a top speed of 32 km/h (depending on local regulations; for example, the version expected to be launched in Taiwan will be limited to 25 km/h to comply with local regulations).
The design retains the rugged style of the Predator, featuring RGB lighting that also functions as brake and turn signals for enhanced safety. Additionally, this electric scooter includes a built-in smart tag holder for easy installation of a tracker for theft prevention. With a range of up to 60 kilometers on a single charge and support for a regenerative braking system to recharge, it's ideal for long-distance commuters.
Users can also check vehicle status, adjust lights, and even enable electronic locks through the Acer eMobility App.
Acer stated that this electric scooter is expected to enter the Taiwan market before the Lunar New Year this year, targeting short-distance commuting needs, such as connecting travel between two places. They also explained that they expect to attract more enthusiasts under the Predator brand.
New Netcom Product: Wi-Fi 7 and 5G Working Together
In terms of network equipment, Acer has launched four new products targeting different user groups:
