Statistics from market research firm Omdia show that as the market's demand for artificial intelligence computing grows, Foxconn (Hon Hai) has become the world's largest artificial intelligence server manufacturer.
In addition to Foxconn, server revenue growth for companies including Quanta Computer (QCT), Super Micro, and ZT Systems will exceed 2024% by 100. ODMs including Pegatron and Flextronics will also meet over 70% of market demand with their designed products, and their investment will account for nearly 60% of global server market investment.
Foxconn has made multiple investments in the cloud services market and is collaborating with industry players such as NVIDIA to create a variety of AI server products and provide them to multiple cloud service providers. As a result, Foxconn currently holds approximately $2290 billion of the $290 billion AI server market, surpassing Dell's $250 billion and widening the gap with Super Micro's $190 billion.
Following closely behind is China's IEIT Systems with a market size of US$160 billion, ranking fourth. Quanta Computer ranks fifth with a market size of US$150 billion. HPE ranks sixth with a market size of approximately US$130 billion. The rest include Huawei, Lenovo, ZT Systems, Wiwynn, and Inventec.
Omdia expects the server market to continue to see strong demand in 2025, with market players increasing their investment spending by more than 22%, pushing the market value to US$2800 billion. This growth momentum will be maintained for at least another decade, reaching US$10 billion in 2028 and approaching US$3800 billion in 2030.
