Hou Yang is expected to take over as the new chairman and CEO of Microsoft China from March 3, and Alain Crozier will assist Hou Yang in taking over the relevant duties before July 1.
Due to Hou Yang's past experience at Qualcomm, he helped Qualcomm expand rapidly in the Chinese semiconductor market and deepened Qualcomm's cooperation with domestic Chinese companies. Therefore, his future responsibility for leading Microsoft's development in the Chinese market is expected to be beneficial to the cooperation model between Microsoft and other companies such as Qualcomm.
Especially now that Microsoft is trying to promote Windows on Arm design, through past cooperation with QualcommWindows on Snapdragon designIt is expected that under the leadership of Hou Yang, the Microsoft China team will be able to expand the development of always-connected laptop products based on the Windows 10 operating system.
As for Alain Crozier, who is expected to work at Microsoft China until July 7 this year, he has not yet announced his plans after leaving Microsoft. Before leaving Microsoft China, Alain Crozier will still be responsible for Microsoft's strategic execution and business performance projects in Greater China.
