The 15-inch MacBook with Retina Display will feature Intel Broadwell-based H-series Core i5 and higher processors. However, these processors are expected to be released around Computex 2015. Therefore, Apple may choose to update the models first and then schedule shipments after mid-June. Alternatively, the company may announce the new models during WWDC 6.
Prior to this, Apple's new 3-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display and 9-inch MacBook Air, released on March 13th, both feature Intel Broadwell processors, though both primarily feature the power-efficient U-series processors. The 13-inch MacBook, on the other hand, utilizes Intel's Core M-series processors, which are currently touted as offering the highest energy efficiency. Furthermore, Apple is expected to introduce a new Force Touch trackpad design on the 12-inch MacBook with Retina Display and will also update the discrete graphics card specifications.
As for the new 21.5-inch and 27-inch iMacs, Apple is also planning to introduce the new Broadwell processor series, likely the Core i5-5675C and Core i7-5775C, respectively, along with Intel Iris Pro Graphics 6200. Furthermore, Apple may also offer a new version of the Magic Trackpad with Force Touch.
However, it is not yet confirmed whether Apple will update its Mac series in the near future, but it is expected that new products will be unveiled at least during or before WWDC 2015.
