As previously announced, the Helio P10 processor unveiled by MediaTek early last year will be first used in the Lenovo Lemon K5 Note.
Lenovo earlier announced the launch of the 5.5-inch Lemon K5 Note, and it is confirmed that it will be the first model to use MediaTek Helio P10. Other hardware specifications include 2GB of memory, 16GB of storage capacity and a 3500mAh battery capacity, as well as dual SIM dual standby, 5V2A battery fast charging technology and a fingerprint reader. The camera modules use 1300 million pixels and 800 million pixels respectively. The appearance is divided into two color schemes: Cool Silver and Brilliant Gold. The suggested retail price is RMB 1099, which is about NT$5700.
Prior to this, MediaTek had revealed that it would introduce the Helio P10 processor in a number of new models this year, and would use it to target the mid-to-high-end model market, and was expected to compete with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 600 series processor market development.
However, many market analysts believe that Qualcomm's processors, with their integrated full-band, LTE capabilities, will save OEMs significant hardware costs and address diverse market demands. Compared to MediaTek, which is primarily focused on developing LTE Cat.6, Qualcomm appears to have a significant advantage in communication capabilities.
