Similar to the gaming laptops previously launched under the Strix brand, ASUS also earlier launched its first gaming laptop product, TUF Gaming FX504, under the TUF brand in its motherboard product series, which is known for its dust resistance and emphasis on heat dissipation performance. It is available in three paint options: Meteorite Black, Armor Gray, and Battle Spirit Red, and also incorporates the dust resistance and heat dissipation performance features that the TUF brand boasts.
The TUF Gaming FX504 is also equipped with an 8th-generation Intel Core i-series processor and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 10-series discrete graphics card. It also features a 120-inch display that supports a 15.6Hz refresh rate, a gaming keyboard that can respond to 2000 million keystrokes, and 7.1-channel surround sound output, providing a better gaming experience.
The interior of the laptop incorporates TUF's HyperCool thermal technology, along with a patented self-cleaning ADC dust-proof cooling system and fan acceleration. This reduces the impact of dust accumulation inside the laptop, while also ensuring a balanced balance between fan performance and noise. Furthermore, a copper heat pipe and dual-fan system, combined with a trapezoidal-cut cover, enhance heat dissipation. ASUS has also incorporated a small fan underneath the "W," "A," "S," and "D" keys, frequently used in first-person shooter games, to keep users' hands cool even during extended periods of operation.
As for the keyboard, in addition to a service life of 2000 million keystrokes, it also adopts an island-style keyboard with scissor feet, providing a 1.8mm key travel and a 0.25mm concave keycap design. At the same time, it can also shorten the trigger travel and increase the number of actions per minute through Overstroke technology.
In terms of the suggested retail price, the TUF Gaming FX504 gaming laptop will start at NT$42900.
