Microsoft's annual developer technology conference, PlugFest Taipei, kicked off today (March 3) in Taipei. The three-day event is expected to engage developers and manufacturers in categories including telecommunications, hardware devices, peripherals, chip manufacturing, financial securities, and system integration. This year's focus will be on Windows, Office, and data applications, and 24 technical experts from Microsoft headquarters will interact with developers through more than 23 forums.
In response to the expected launch of Windows 10 this year, the currently launched Azure cloud platform and corresponding IoT integration services, as well as its Exchange, SharePoint, Office and corresponding mobile device applications, Microsoft Taiwan plans to hold the Microsoft Developer Technology Annual Conference PlugFest Taipei for three consecutive days starting today (3/24). 23 technical experts from Microsoft headquarters will interact closely with developers through more than 30 forum activities, and jointly discuss with partners on topics such as telecommunications, hardware devices, peripherals, chip manufacturing, financial securities, and system integration, in order to echo Microsoft's market strategy recently explained.Will embrace a development model of openness, listening to needs and learning experiences.
Microsoft said that PlugFest Taipei, which is regarded as one of the two major technology events of Microsoft in Taiwan, is held for the fifth year this year. This year, it will focus on Windows 2 and Microsoft's continued introduction of Azure cloud platform to various platforms. In response to the recent market concerns about IoT applications, Microsoft also announced earlier thatAzure IoT application suite will be launchedFor key products such as Office, Exchange, and SharePoint, we will continue to communicate with various parties based on their needs and assist in introducing applications in different fields and across different platforms, thereby creating win-win market opportunities.
As explained in a previous interview, Microsoft has been undergoing a transformation since last year, led by new CEO Satya Nadella, and has continued to develop with a mobile-first, cloud-first strategy. At the same time, the company's mindset has shifted to one of embracing openness, listening to needs, and learning from a wide range of experiences.
