As previously reported, Fujifilm announced the launch of a new mirrorless camera, the X-A5, which features faster autofocus, 4K video recording, and an independent microphone design. It is expected that this will make it easier for users to use it for image recording needs.
The X-A5 uses a new 2420-megapixel Bayer sensor instead of the X-Trans sensor commonly used in previous Fuji models. At the same time, a phase detection autofocus design has been added to the focus system, making the overall focusing speed faster and the sensitivity value expanded to a maximum of ISO 51200 (through interpolation).
As for the shooting function, it has added a continuous shooting mode of 6 frames per second and a continuous shooting mode that can reach 800 frames per second with 15K image quality equivalent to the native 4-megapixel mode. It also improves the recognition of shooting objects and the restoration of natural skin tones. It also provides new filter effects such as defog and HDR art, bringing the total number of artistic filter options to 17. It also provides shooting effects with post-production focus position, and the exposure compensation has been increased from the original ±3EV to ±5EV.
In terms of video recording function, in addition to the 15K format with 4 frames per second, it also provides a 60P recording format with 1080 frames per second, and can provide 4 times the high-speed recording effect in HD quality, and can record sound through an external microphone through the 2.5mm connection port.
As for the body design, it is as lightweight as the previously launched X-A3, and it also inherits the flip-up touch screen, which makes it convenient for users to operate through touch or flip up the screen to frame. The body is available in three colors: silver, brown and pink.
