Android 8.0, codenamed Android O, adopts a modular design for the system, interface, and security layers. Therefore, Google will be able to release new operating system updates directly to all devices in the future. Companies such as Samsung, HTC, ASUS, and Xiaomi provide different user experiences through customized operating interfaces. In the future, each manufacturer will be able to provide updates independently, including chip manufacturers and communication manufacturers, who can also release security updates for their own chipsets. There will be no more awkward situations where they are mutually restrained, and the fragmentation of Android operating system versions will gradually be eliminated.
