At the Build 2017 event this year, it was announced that the iTunes service wouldEntering the Windows Store, through the Universal Windows App format, Windows 10 S operating system users can directly run and use it, and even always-connected PC products based on the Windows on Snapdragon project can also use it directly without the need for additional download and installation through Apple's official website.
However, Apple confirmed the news earlier, and it is clear that at this stage it is still impossible for users to experience the complete iTunes service in the form of a Universal Windows App. Therefore, iTunes will not be available on the Windows Store this year, but Apple will continue to cooperate with Microsoft in the future.
Apple did not specify the bottlenecks it is currently facing, nor did it confirm the expected completion schedule.
In addition to iTunes announcing that it will enter the Windows Store, application services including Spotify, Autodesk, and SAP are also planned to enter the Windows Store in the form of Universal Windows Apps, allowing users to use them directly on the Windows 10 S operating system.
