In an earlier announcement, Nintendo confirmed that the mobile version of "Animal Crossing" originally scheduled to be released this year will be postponed to the next fiscal year, which means the actual launch time may be between April 2017 and the end of March 4.
Nintendo did not specify the actual reason for the delay, but since its second mobile game "Holy Fire Heroes" will be released on February 2, and "Super Mario Run" for the Android platform will also be launched soon, perhaps Nintendo wants to give players more time to experience the newly released game content, and at the same time it must expand the overall connection service quality, so the actual launch time must be postponed.
Nintendo has currently received a lot of support from players from the first "Super Mario Run" and is expected to attract more players with "Brave Heroes". The mobile version of "Animal Crossing" to be launched next is expected to attract different player groups, and plans to allow more players to join the game through the Android platform version of "Super Mario Run".
While many game manufacturers have remained focused on home console platforms in recent years, in order to secure greater profits and market development opportunities, companies such as Square Enix, SEGA, Capcom, and Konami have begun expanding into the mobile market. Even Sony and Nintendo, which themselves provide console platforms, have also entered the mobile market.
