HTC announced that its Desire series smartphones have surpassed one million units sold annually in Taiwan. The company also announced today (June 16) the launch of the mid-range flagship HTC Desire 820s dual SIM in Taiwan. Available in four colors: Sky White, Galaxy Gray, Bright Orange White, and Bright Orange Gray, the Desire 820s has a suggested retail price of NT$7990. It is expected to go on sale in HTC stores nationwide starting June 25th, and will be available simultaneously at Chunghwa Telecom, Taiwan Mobile, Far EasTone Telecommunications, Taiwan Star, and Asia Pacific Telecom stores nationwide starting July 1st.
According to HTC, its Desire series has surpassed one million units in annual sales in Taiwan, making it a fashionable, nationally recognized smartphone. Furthermore, as Jiang Qijian's user experience continues to trickle down to the Desire series, HTC's smartphone sales are also improving.
The mid-range flagship model Desire 820s dual SIM announced for launch in Taiwan this time comes in four dual-color designs: Blue Sky White, Galaxy Gray, Bright Orange White, and Bright Orange Gray. It is equipped with a 5.5-inch screen, an octa-core processor, a 13-megapixel camera and an 8-megapixel video camera, as well as support for Taiwan's 4G LTE service and a dual-SIM card slot design, allowing users to enjoy the experience of a high-end model at a lower price.
The Desire 820s dual SIM will go on sale starting June 25th, with a suggested retail price of NT$7990 for a single device. The first wave of sales will be available in HTC stores across Taiwan, and it is expected to be launched simultaneously in all Chunghwa Telecom, Taiwan Mobile, Far EasTone Telecommunications, Taiwan Star, and Asia Pacific Telecom stores in Taiwan starting July 1st.
