After first launching in Japan in April this year and holding a physical event in Akihabara a few days ago, "Battle Girls' Gakuen (バトルガールハイスクール)" officially entered the Taiwanese market at the end of November. Today (12/2), Taiwanese agent So-net and developer COLOPL announced their future joint operation vision, emphasizing that more local content cooperation will be added in the future, including the opportunity for uniforms of famous Taiwanese high schools to appear in the game one after another.
When announcing its distribution rights for "My Dragon" in Taiwan, So-net Taiwan revealed plans to release a new title before the end of the year. This is "Battle Girls' Academy," which officially launched on Google Play and the App Store at the end of November. According to So-net, "Battle Girls' Academy" has been gaining significant player interest since its launch in Japan this year, and recently held a physical event in Akihabara to engage with numerous players. For its launch in Taiwan, So-net also invited celebrity Zhang Jinglan to endorse the game.
Combining three elements, "Battle Girls' Academy" features players taking on the role of a new teacher at Shenshufeng Girls' Academy. Players will interact with and develop the abilities of female students, guiding them to reclaim the Earth from invaders. Interactions include "patting the head," "giving gifts," and "special training" to enhance intimacy between girls and further unlock the girls' inner secrets, thereby gaining greater power and uncovering hidden plots.
In addition, the 15 characters that appear in the game are voiced by popular Japanese voice actors such as Suzaki Aya, Sakura Ayane, Amamiya Sora, Uchida Maaya, and Kato Emiri. They all have carefully designed school uniforms, combat armor, and costumes launched for special festivals. For example, the version launched in Taiwan will add maid outfits, and will even further add localized content in the future, adding uniforms of famous high schools in Taiwan.
In addition to fighting against invaders, players can also experience various competitions in the game to collect BP points, or compete with two other friends. They can obtain different costumes, weapons, special skills and story content through more than 70 cards, and at the same time, they will accept different mission challenges every day during the game.
The Traditional Chinese version released in Taiwan will feature enhanced tutorials for beginners, Facebook login integration, automatic treasure chest recovery, daily auto-leveling, and 8x auto-play mode. A VIP system with animated costumes and weapons will also be added, along with enhanced arena descriptions and tooltips. The reload roll action for gun and staff attacks will be removed, allowing for a smoother gameplay experience. However, features like evasion, skill switching, and class attribute counters will remain, and after a certain number of combos, a flashy special move will be unleashed.
In conjunction with the launch of the platform in Taiwan, So-net Taiwan will launch a number of promotions, as follows:
